  • Payment reserves a spot in the class and we are unable to provide refunds, but we will gladly transfer your spot in the class towards a future class or a friend!

FAQs:

  • We recommend taking the class between 24 - 32 weeks of pregnancy. This gives you enough time to absorb a lot of material, and practice what you learn in the weeks before your birth! But really, anytime you’re able to is a good time!

  • Yes! When you reserve a spot in the class, you are automatically able to have 1 support person of your choice join you. For our comfort measures class, you may bring up to 2 support people.

  • A lot of that info you find online about pregnancy and birth? It’s inaccurate! The Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth Class brings together all of the best, updated, evidence-based information for you in one spot. You also have an experienced instructor who can answer questions you may have.

  • Routine practices in some hospitals are still about 15 to 20 years behind the research, and there is a lot of pressure to conform to traditions that might not always be in your best interests. We will teach you and your partner(s) how to be your own advocate. We envision a world in which all birthing families have access to safe, respectful, evidence-based, and empowering care!

  • Our students are most excited to learn about the entire toolkit of comfort measures for labor. We cover pain management techniques like massage, water immersion, upright birthing positions, acupressure, music therapy, and deep breathing, just to name a few. You also get hands-on practice in our Comfort Measures Rehearsal. When labor starts, you and your support team will be ready!
